Eduardo Contreras, Director of Bands
Thank you everyone for your support to the RCMS Band! We can't believe that this year we have RECORD number of students in band - over 250! We are very excited to have students eager to learn music and it's our goal that every student involved in the program has an instrument in their hand to learn, participate and appreciate the value of music. Because we have record number of students we need YOUR help! At the moment we do not have the inventory to accommodate the demand for instruments especially for those in need but with your support we know we can achieve this GOAL!
We are aiming for a $20,000 goal to purchase instruments that will be used for years to come by many students. Some of the larger instruments (like tubas, baritones, bass clarinets, tenor saxophones) are quite expensive but vital to the musical quality of the program and usually cannot be purchased or rented because of the expense. However they do last a long time!
Please help us reach this goal so we may purchase instruments that will be needed very soon. Any donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and will greatly effect future instrumental students! We thank you for your donation and if we all contribute even a minimum $10, it will gradually build up to our goal. Any amount will be appreciated!
If you have an instrument that is no longer in use and would like to donate it to the band, we will gladly accept it! As soon as an instrument is received we will have it inspected, repaired if needed, and loaned to a student.
Feel free to use the secure PayPal link to the left or you may send in a check made payable to RCMS BAND. Checks can be sent with a student or mailed directly to the school at:
